Happy Birthday x2

Monday was my 2nd birthday. Yeah me!!! Mommy and daddy had a nice party for me the Saturday before. I saw a lot of my friends, got a lot of really neat presents and, of course, I had some good cake!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out for me last week for the Diabetes Walk. I also want to thank those that contributed. When all is said in done, we will have raised over $2000!!! That is so cool!

Aunt Lisa and Uncle Todd have made me a new friend. Bryce "Brutus" David Moyer was born last week and he is a cutey. I can't wait to meet him and corrupt him! He too will be a little devil >:-)

So, mommy and daddy finally got the pictures back from the York Fair this year! I got to ride the carousel for the first time and there are pictures of me there!





So..I also have these pictures that I think might incriminate me in a murder. Daddy thinks it looks like I am wearing OJ's gloves!!! I have no idea what that means, but he thinks its funny.

Sugar Baby

Well...for those of you who don't know, last weekend I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. That just means I am extra sweet, which all of you already knew :-)

I spent a miserable night in the hospital last week and I have been behaving very good this week so mommy and daddy don't take me back. I still get poked a lot, but I am getting used to it. I heard mommy talking about my sugar levels and it seems that both her and daddy are happy with them. I guess that's good, because I feel so much better. I am back to running, babbling and did I mention...I LOVE TO EAT!!!! Everything tastes good to me. Before, I used to be more fussy with my meals, but I LOVE TO EAT. Wonder which one of my parents I get that from.

Anyway...I will start to keep you posted on how I am doing, plus my normal adventures as well. In the mean time, here are a few pictures from BD...Before Diabetes!

Hello everybody!!!

Wow...so I learn to walk and I am gone! I had no idea it had been over a month since I last posted anything here. What a bad little toddler I have become.

Well, here's the update. I think I have about 76 teeth now and I think my mouth will be sore forever. Good God people, are these chompers really worth it? I had no idea that chewing was worth this kind of pain. Hopefully...HOPEFULLY, they are soon done!

I am talking a little more everyday. I now say mommy and daddy very clear and of course apple. Sometimes I say numbers just to make grandma happy. Mommy and daddy sometimes joke that I am cursing too...little do they know that I am! :-)

Walking and running is cool, although I still don't want to try steps and I stand stock still when mom and dad put me down in the grass. Give me a hard floor or carpet any day!

Did I mention...I LOVE SOUP! Weird, right? Daddy is a big soup freak (well, at least half of that we know is true!) and I think I got his taste buds. Any kind of soup really. Actually, it feels good to not have to chew stuff. Every time I bite down, my teeth hurt, so slurping some soup is great.

Well...I think that is enough for now. I will see if daddy has any new pics of me. I thought he did, but I haven't seen them on here yet. What a slacker!!! But you knew that already.

The other night daddy laid a pillow on the floor and plopped down on it saying "Let's go to sleep." I love this game. I will run into the pillow and plop down next to daddy. I laughed so hard the first time we did this I almost got the hiccups!!! I love it.
