Happy Holidays

67 days 13 hours and 8 minutes

Happy Holidays from the inside of mommy's belly!

Things here have been very busy this past week. I have heard so many voices and again had so much good food, I just don't know where to begin.

Last Wednesday I heard Grandpa Baker and Great Grandma Baker. Mom and Dad went to dinner with them and I got to hear them talking all about me. I love all of this attention :-)

This weekend I got to hear Uncle Jason, Aunt Denise, Grandma, Aunt Brenda and lots of others. That was Christmas day. I can't wait until I am out to experience that day. I kept hearing everyone say they couldn't wait until next year when I was here because there would be a lot of stuff for me! I love me some presents!

Things in here are still very good, albeit a little cramped. It seems everytime I move now I am bumping into something. Of course, that is okay too, because it makes mom jump and she gets excited everytime she feels me. As long as she is happy, I am happy.

I keep hearing this name Ella. Daddy was talking to me the other night and he kept saying it over and over. Grandma keeps saying it and mom is telling everyone that name as well. I am beginning to think that might be my name! I like it. It is very cool.

Oh, I forgot to mention...on Christmas eve I heard mom and dad say they were going to the candlelight service at church. I loved it!!! The bell choir was cool and the Christmas music was very neat. I heard dad say that I must have some of Grandma Baker in me because of how much I loved the music. Sweet.

Well, I am tired from all of this writing, so I am going to take a nap. Sorry for the delay in writing, but rolling, sleeping, eating, sleeping, kicking and sleeping make for a busy day.

Bye-bye.

OH BOY!!!

Well...today mommy and daddy found out what I am! Here is the picture they got...can you tell???

Well if you don't see anything, that is becaise there is nothing there. After six months, I can finally tell all of you as well...I am Baby Girl Baker! :-)

I don't know if dad is disappointed or not, but I just want to reassure him...I still love me some O's! Of course, I will be checking them out with mommy!!!

Well, I need a nap. Too much excitement for one day. Ole Doc Piccolo was really moving some junk on me today, so it wore me out.

Later.

HOLY CRAP!

Ok...it again has been a while...but I have to say...whatever this Thanksgiving thing was last week...WOW!!!! Mom has never fed me so much and so many different good things! Apparently dad made this stuff and it was wonderful. I can't wait to get out and let him feed me even better.

Speaking of dad, he felt me kick for the first time the other night. I am sure he loved it and was grinning from ear to ear.

I continue to stir around and mom giggles when i get the hiccups! (which, by the way, happens quite frequently now.) I always wait until she is sitting still to move around. I know she we will feel me then.

I got to hear Uncle Jason, grandma and Aunt Denise last week too. I haven't heard Uncle Jason for a long time, but it was good to hear him again.

Next week mom and dad are going to see if they can see what I am. I already know if I am a girl or a boy...but I am not going to tell you. You have to wait just like everyone else!

Gotta get to bed. Later.

Can you feel me?!?!?

Mom and dad were amazed on Sunday night when I decided to show mom I was inside. I started to move enough that her belly began to jump. Apparently it wasn't a lot of movement, but it was enough that they got excited. I love messing with them!

I also heard mom call and make an appointment today for Dr. Piccilo in December. I am not sure why she called for an additional appointment, but I believe it might be for them to see what I am! Dad is so impatient :-)

Ta-Da!!!!

Hey buddies...

I must say I am sorry for my lack of visiting with you over the past few weeks. I am doing very well, growing every day an fluttering more and more. Really, other than that, nothing exciting has happened...

until this week. Mom and dad went to what they were calling the Eastern Shore on Thursday and Friday for daddy's work. I have to laugh...he must be a major wuss! The reason mommy went was because she had to drive dad across a big bridge. I could tell as we crossed it that dad was scared because he was actually quiet for a while!!! :-) The next day mom went to visit dad at work again and he took her into a lunch where she fed me well...very well!!! I must say, I love crab cakes. They were delicious.

I also got hear Aunt Lisa and Uncle Todd the other night too. Mommy and daddy had dinner with them and it was very nice to hear them again. I think Aunt Lisa is more excited than most for me to get here!

Mom is doing great. I heard her tell dad the other day that she is glad that people look at her now and realize she is pregnant, instead of thinking she is just getting fat. I am sure she is beautiful. She continues to feed me lots of good grub, even though it doesn't seem like it has been as much. Oh well!

Mom and dad went the other week to register...whatever that is. I will say though, I think they were looking for things for me. If that is the case, I am one lucky baby. There is some nice stuff they were talking about.

Mom told dad today that she thinks it might be soon that he can start to feel me moving. I laughed. I have been moving my butt around in here for quite sometime and doing the best I can to make people know I am here. I guess mom has been the only one to feel. I gotta work harder on this.

I get to hear Dr. Piccilo again this week. Should be fun. I always hear him talking and then he pushes this thing on mommy's tummy. I think he is listening for my heart beat, so I make sure he finds it easily...just so mom and dad don't worry.

5 months now and things are really cramped. I am not sure how much longer I am going to be here, but I hope some spaces opens up. I am afraid I will have to sleep with my knees in my face!

Well...I am going to go now. I hope all of you are doing well!

Take care outsiders!

Fluttering away

Here I am! Things are still going well. Mom has started to feel me fluttering around and she giggles everytime it happens! The other week she thought I didn't like Chinese food because I was moving around a lot after she ate at buffet. But let me tell you something...I loved it! I was moving all around because the food stopped and I was looking for more. That's some good stuff! :-)

Dad has been missing a lot this week. I did hear him say he was very tired, so I am not sure what he was up to. I sure did miss him though. He is still rubbing mom's belly and I hear him get very close and say hello a lot.

Next week we go for another check-up. I am going to let mom and dad hear how strong my heartbeat is. Mom told dad tonight that we are half way through. That means I have been in this little space for 4 1/2 months! Speaking of which, everyday it seems to get smaller and more tight in here. I am not sure what is going on, but I am ready to look for a new place. This is getting very cramped. Almost not enough room to hang my plasma screen TV on the walls!

Well...I am off to sleep...what else is new :-) I will check back soon. Take care outsiders.

Time to check in

Apologies for my long delay. I have a lot of stuff to share and just can't find the time to write. I am spinning and stetching and everything else...very busy day.

Mom had her checkup last week and everything is good. Mom and dad heard my heartrate again...146 beats per minute. Dad does a pretty mean imitation of the sound. He cracks me up.

Oh...before I forget...I have no idea what this "fair" is that mom and dad took me to last week but my God was the food wonderful. I tasted things I never knew existed and now I can't wait to get out and try them for myself! Ice cream in waffles, fried veggies, Bricker's Fries, funnel cake, Gyros, Italian Steak sandwiches...and that was just the first day :-) No, I kid. Mom kept saying she was excited for fair food and she certainly showed it by what she fed me. Mom and dad eat good stuff!

Mom still gets tired very easily and after walking around the fair, she was pooped. Even after a long day at work, she tires out very easily. Poor mom. But she says that I am worth it...that makes me smile.

I also made my first trip to my future alma mater this weekend. Mom and dad went to a Ship football game and I got to hear everything. Aunt Barker was there and mom and dad seemed to have a good time. A lot of news, but I can't wait to see what football looks like. Dad talks about it all the time, so it must be good.

Well...I need my sleep as well. Long day ahead of me tomorrow...you know, with all the swimming and bouncing and stuff.

I'll check back soon.

So tired!

Hey folks...sorry I got lost there for a few days. Mom and Dad have been wearing me out. Apparently we went on vacation last week. I am not sure what that was, but it made me and mom very tired. She walked and walked and walked and I slept and slept and...well, you get the point. She seemed to be very relaxed though, so I enjoyed it.

Other than that, not too much new here. I can still hear daddy and every once in a while I hear him a lot louder. He pressed against mommy's tummy and talks. It makes me smile when I hear him. This fella is gonna be cool.

I heard mom and dad got a me a few things already. The other week they bought some stuff at yard sales and I know I have some clothes waiting. Hopefully something that is going to make me look cute...

Please...I don't need clothes for that :-)

Well, I am going to go back to sleep. If I don't check in before, I will stop by next week. Mom goes to Doc Piccolo for a check up and I may have some things to tell you about that.

Plus...mom keeps giving me happy feelings everytime dad mentions the York Fair. Her belly growls and she seems pleased. I am not sure what this is either, but I am sure it will provide a fun story!

Take care outsiders! :)

Me again!

Holy Moley!

I didn't realize how long it had been since I last checked in with everyone. Of course, where was I really going to go! I swim one way and then another. That's about it for now and I am happy. As long as mom keeps feeding me, I am satisfied.

Mom took me to the doctor on Thursday. Everything is good, but of course, I could have told her that. I felt the Doc Piccilo poking around. I tried to poke back, but I still have these tiny hands, so I couldn't. But you wait, once I am out of here, I'll remember him poking me!

I have to say too...I am not sure where mom and dad live, but it has been HOT!!! Last Saturday we were at that place with all the cheering and stuff again and I was sweating! It was super hot. I heard mom mention something about 100 degrees. I am not sure what that means either, but I think I would rather not find out. They must of have found some shade, though, because I cooled down after a while.

I heard daddy talking to me tonight. At first he was being silly and singing a song, but then I heard mom tell him to be serious and then he said hello. I was yelled back, but, nothing came out. So if you are reading this dad...Yo, what up dude! :-)

Mom has been buying some stuff for me too. I heard her and Grandma today talking about some things they bought at yard sales. I can't be sure, but apparently these are places sell their yards. They must sell other stuff too, because a I got some cool stuff. This being a baby stuff is going to rock!

Well, I better get to sleep. I wanted to say hello at least, so you didn't think I moved. Be well all and I will write again soon!

Class of 2029

I heard mommy and daddy talking a while ago that I would go to Shippensburg University because that is where they both went. I think they want to start a family legacy. I am not sure if that will happen, but I thought this would at least make them content for now:

Look at me!

Hey there folks...here I am again!

Just click the pic to see a bigger, better view!

Ain't I just a cutie?!?!?

I heard mommy talking today about someone named June. She said June said I was going to have dad's big round head! Ouch...that's kind of mean. Oh well. I am not sure what it looks like yet, but I hope its not big and round!

Things here have been good. Mom continues to feed me good food, so I am quite content. As long as she keeps shoveling in, I will be a happy baby.

Good night all!

What the...?

Okay...I know I have only been around for a little more than two months, but I have no idea what in the world was going on today!

I was swimming around, minding my own business, when all of a sudden I could hear people yelling and screaming and music was blaring and there was clapping. I have no idea what was going on. Every once in a while I could hear what sounded like a horn blowing and then mom would yell "CHARGE"! I could feel her clapping her hands and I could also tell she was a bit frustrated by something.

It sounded very exciting, but I have no idea what it was. I remember about a month ago, when I was just able to know what was going on, I experienced something similar, but this was crazy. I kept trying to swim, yet she kept clapping and cheering.

Then everything got quiet again. I heard dad faintly say something about the Orioles? I don't know what he was talking about. He said it never failed that the Orioles let him down in the middle of the season. As best I can understand, dad must work with birds. He also said something about white socks. I really have no idea. Like I said before...he is a mystery to me and only gets weirder by the day.

Well...I am tired. I gotta get some sleep. I will check in again soon.

Doing a back float!

Hello all...

Just thought I would check in now that most of you know I am here. This week has been fairly quiet. Mom is still a little testy when it comes to food, but she seems to be getting a little better. I heard her tell daddy the other day that nothing was making her sick, so I guess I am easing up a bit. I still make her stomach turn when she thinks of fish, though :-)

I hear mommy telling dad too that I have started to swim around! And you know what, she's right. I can see there is a little room in here and I have started to do laps. Its great. I hope it stays this roomy the whole time I am here. I hate to have to move...the rent is good!

I also have these things that bend now. Two of them are at my bottom and two at my midsection. And they have little things jutting out from them as well!!! Pretty freaky!

Mom is still sleeping a lot. I don't hear dad's voice too often because I think she is always taking a nap or off in bed. She gets so sleepy.

Well...I better get going. I want to swim around here a little more before the night is over. I will check back with you soon!

Hello Everyone!

Greetings everyone. Oh...that's right...you don't know who I am. Well, let me introduce myself. I am Baby Baker. I have no idea what sex I am because my hoo-hoo dilly or my cha-cha haven't developed yet.

Please...did you think with my parents, that I would start my introduction in any other way!

I am very pleased to be here. Right now, I am the size of a peanut, or a kidney bean...depending on who you ask. My heart rate is a whopping 156 beats per minute. That is very good for a little thing like me.

According to mom, my legs and arms are forming, my heart is fluttering away and I am growing each and every day.

Speaking of mom...I haven't made her too sick yet. She stopped eating bananas and Chinese food because of me. Not because they are bad, but they just turn her stomach. I know she doesn't feel well some days, but she says it is worth it! And please...she feeds me so much food! I get a wide variety of stuff every day! Yummy.

Dad...well, I haven't figured him out yet. I hear this goofy voice talking outside, but I can't see him. I can't wait to get out and see him.

Speaking of getting out, I think I heard ole Doc Piccolo say today that I will be coming into the world on March 5, 2006. That seems so far off, but I guess I better finish growing before then.

I also can't wait to get out and see my brother Buster. Apparently he is "the sweetest baby" because I hear mom say that all the time. She also says that he is so hairy. My guess is that he not a very cute baby! But none the less, I gotta check this dude out.

Well...enough for now. Check me out in my first photo.

Just click the pic to see a bigger, better view!

I was smiling, even if you can't tell. Mommy had just fed me Hoss's tips smothered in gravy. YUMMY! More mommy, more!

Take care and I will check back with you in a few days!
