Busy few days

It has been a very active few days for me. On Friday, I went and stayed at Grandma Jinny's for the first time. (She really isn't my grandma, but I call her that...its just easier.) I was there from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It was a long day, but I had a good time. I met a lot of other older kids and they were amazed by me. I am so precious, I know!

On Saturday, mommy took me to Aunt Lisa's bridal shower. I met a lot of new people there and I got passed around to a lot of people. Aunt Lisa kept trying to steal me, but I think moomy would have tracked her down.

On Sunday, I spent the day with Grandma and Aunt Denise. Mom and dad went to an Orioles game and left me behind :-( They said I was still a little too little for the game, so I stayed behind. Someday I will get to go. I can't wait.

This week is pretty tame. Daddy is home a lot with me now and mommy is back to work. I was sad to see her go, but I understand if I want to keep eating those yummy bottles, both she and dad need to leave every once in a while.

Well, that is the update from 1 foot down! Bye.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is mommy's day! I got her some nice stuff and daddy helped me pick a nice card. I think she was very happy with it.

Daddy also posted a few more pictures...61 to be exact. Here are some: (the rest can be found if you click on the "my first months" link on the right!)

Busy girl

Hey there folks. My apologies for not writing. I realized today has been two weeks since I last posted something. Just like my daddy, I am quite the slacker :-)

Today was a big day for me. I went to the mall with mommy and daddy and we walked around for several hours. I did get a bit fussy, but after a clean diaper and a bottle, I was much better. It was great to hear all of the noise and see all of the bright lights. I think it was good for mommy to get out as well.

For the most part, not a lot has changed. Mom and dad always get big smiles on their faces when I smile at them. Too funny. If only they knew I was just farting!!!

Daddy was gone for a few days last week. I was beginning to think he wasn't coming home at all. But every night mommy would give me a kiss and tell me that daddy said he loved me. I did miss that fat boy! I was happy to see him on Thursday and he held me and gave me lots of kisses. Always a good thing.

Mommy has been spending lots of time with me as well. I know she is dreading going back to work in a few weeks, but its okay. I will miss her, but at some point I need to cut the cord...right??? :-)

Well, I better go get some rest. Speaking of which, I have been sleeping most of the night lately as well. Last night I went to bed at 11:30 and didn't get up again until 7. Then after a quick bottle and a diaper change (really the highlights of my day), I went back to sleep until noon! Mom said she thought maybe I was having a growth spurt that was making me tired. I don't know, but man was it nice to sleep in!

Later folks...maybe I will have some new pics soon too!

My first Easter

Yesterday was my first Easter. I had so much fun!

First, mommy and daddy took me to church for the first time. Well, I got to go to the nursery, but it was still pretty cool. I got to meet two other bigger girls named Ella. One of them was even named Ella Marie. That name rocks!

When we got home, Grandma, Aunt Denise and Uncle Jason all stopped by. Along with mom and dad, they all ate ham and lots of good stuff. Dad kept joking that maybe next year I can try some. I will stick with formula for now.

I got a cool basket filled with all kinds of goodies from the Eatser Bunny. I am not sure who this character is, but I hope he is not one of those bunnies that Buster is always chasing! :-(

Here are some pics from my big day:

I know

I know, I know...you are sitting there thinking "what does a baby have to do all day that she can't find time to write a Blog entry?"

Well, things have been going very well here. Now that mom and dad have gotten my feeding a little more regulated, I am much more content than before. Plus, now I can leave stinky farts that make daddy gag! Hah...9 points for me!

I am loving life on the outside. Aside from some painful gas and some loud noises, everything is wonderful. Mommy and daddy cuddle me and give me kisses all the time. I get to see grandma almost every day! Buster likes to kiss the top of my head and I get to sleep all night and stare at things in amazement all day. How much better could it get???

Daddy says he has a few more pictures to post, but he is very busy. I know mommy is worried about some of his work trips coming up. She is nervouse about being home with me by herself. I don't know why she is worried. I am less than 10 pounds for heaven's sake! Anyway...daddy will post the pictures soon...he promises.

Well...I better go. I am going to visit grandma tonight with mommy and Aunt Brenda. Should be fun!

Take care :-)

Memorial Hospital

Check out my picture and info on the Memorial Hospital website

Here is my Hospital website picture:

I'm home

So I came home on Sunday. Sorry for the delay in writing, but I decided to torment Mom and Dad with a lot of fussiness during the night. Things are slowly calming down again and I actually let mom and dad have a pretty good nights rest last night.

Not perfect, but pretty good.

Here are a few more pictures for you to enjoy:

This is a close up of me!

Check out my cute little dress. That is what I wore home.

All in all, things are going pretty good. I like my new home and my brother Buster has taken really well to me. He gets concerned when I cry and he often runs to mom and dad when I cry. But he has been very good.

This house and life isn't too bad. Eat, sleep, poop, eat, sleep, poop. That is the routine!

I will check back later!

Induce this!

After planning to be induced on Monday of next week, I made decision...today might work! Mom has been having contractions since 6:00 AM this morning and as of right now...5:44 pm...they are about 6 minutes apart.

Not too much longer until I am out of this wonderful place and into the great unknown.

See you on the flip side!!!

Not so fast

38 hours 24 minutes and 30 seconds

Ha-Ha! Mom thought I wanted to come out...fooled her!. We went to the doctor yesterday and he checked to see if mom was ready to invite me into the world. Guess what...nothing! She is sealed tighter than Fort Knox :-) I know...a bit graphic, right. I am getting a little loopy in here. No room to stretch, no space to move...I think I am going abit crazy.

Of course that could just be my personality coming through. I mean please...look at who my parents are! Wow...I just realize I don't stand a chance of ever being normal.

Anyway...I am not sure if I will make my grand entrance on Monday of next week like predicted or if I will hang around and give grandma a nice 60th birthday gift. Either way, it can't be too much long. Can it?

Now its hours and minutes!!!

240 hours 48 minutes and 26 seconds

So we are now down to counting by the hours and minutes. With under 10 days until I am supposed to arrive, I am getting very anxious.

I am so ready to meet my mom, dad, brother Buster, Grandma, Aunt Denise, Uncle Jason, Aunt Brenda...well, pretty much everyone.

It is dark in here, on top of being cramped and very hot. I keep telling mom to let me out by jabbing her in the ribs and generally making it hard for her to sleep, but I guess she just isn't getting the message.

Oh well!

See you all very, very soon :-)

Knees, elbows...

20 days 22 hours and 30 minutes

As it gets more and more cramped in here, I have less room to stretch and move. I know that mommy doesn't like it, but sometimes I just need to stretch and kick and punch. Sometimes I hear her saying that she can feel my elbow or my back or something else. She is always making anoise and then touching her belly when I move now...she must really be able to feel me.

I also heard her say that her whole belly shifts back and forth sometimes when I move. Some of her coworkers are grossed out by it! I think its funny. Makes mommy look funny.

I heard we got a lot of snow the other day. I have no clue what the heck that is, but apparently it was a lot. I know daddy kept telling me to wait to come out until after the snow had stopped. It must be a mess whatever it is.

Well folks...I need some rest. With the countdown at 20 days and counting, I need all the rest I can get.

Talk to you later...or better yet...see you soon! :-)

Oh so close

33 days 22 hours and 56 minutes

Well, as you can see above, we are almost a month away from my arrival! How exciting. Mom and dad just finished child birth classes this past weekend and I got hear about all the things mom can expect the day I come. Sounds like it will be pretty rough ride, but I think I will be ready. Things are getting way too cramped in here. I keep kicking mom, but I don't think she is getting the point.

Tomorrow we get to visit old Doc Piccolo again. If I remember right, we start weekly visits after to the doctor after tomorrow, so that just means a lot of poking and prodding for me.

According to mom, everything is going quite well. She giggles when she can feel a part of me poking through her belly. Oh, speaking of which, dad keeps telling everyone she is about to pop. Sounds as if she has a round little belly on the outside :-)

Not too much has been happening, but I guess there will be a lot more to write about in the next few weeks.

I am getting excited to meet all the voices I have heard for the past 8 months.

Take care and I will see you soon ;-)

Surprise!

Wow...this weekend was great. On Sunday, mommy was very surprised when Grandma, Aunt Denise, Aunt Brneda and dad threw her a baby shower. I loved to hear all the noise and I loved that mommy was so happy. When she is happy, I am happy :-)

Based on what I heard, I got a lot of good stuff! It didn't sound like mom got anything for herself, but it sounds like I am well stocked with clothes, toys and all kinds of good stuff. I love it.

Tomorrow I get to be poked and prodded again by the docs. Mom and dad now have to go once every two weeks since we are getting closer to when I need to come out. And by the way...that couldn't come a moment too soon. It is CRAMPED here. I have to kick mom's kidneys, gall bladder, spleen, whatever is in the way. One good thing, I have found this very soft thing to sleep on. I think mom calls it her bladder.

Mom and dad started to take birthing classes two weeks ago. I heard them touring the hospital and last week mom started to learn how to breath. I don't know what the big deal is for her. All she has to do is lay there. I am the one you should feel bad for. I leave my warm, cushy home I have to be thrown into a cold, bright new place.

Well...time for sleep. Gotta get ready for another day or terrorizing mom's organs :-)!!!

Take care everyone.

So loud!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

That is all I heard screamed at the top of people's lungs last night! Good God it was noisy. I was very excited because I got to hear a lot of people this weekend and mommy was feeding me shrimp...yummy. Then, all of a sudden, I hear a group of people shouting numbers and then they screamed Happy New Year about 1000 times. Holy cow.

Mommy seemed to enjoy it, so I didn't mind so much, but that was way past my bedtime...don't these people understand that???

Today I got a lot of sauerkraut and mashed potatos. That is some good stuff. Mommy actually at it for two meals. She than had some pizza that daddy made for her. He is so nice.

Well, I need to get some sleep! I have a lot to catch up on :-)

So...Happy New Year folks!

Happy Holidays

67 days 13 hours and 8 minutes

Happy Holidays from the inside of mommy's belly!

Things here have been very busy this past week. I have heard so many voices and again had so much good food, I just don't know where to begin.

Last Wednesday I heard Grandpa Baker and Great Grandma Baker. Mom and Dad went to dinner with them and I got to hear them talking all about me. I love all of this attention :-)

This weekend I got to hear Uncle Jason, Aunt Denise, Grandma, Aunt Brenda and lots of others. That was Christmas day. I can't wait until I am out to experience that day. I kept hearing everyone say they couldn't wait until next year when I was here because there would be a lot of stuff for me! I love me some presents!

Things in here are still very good, albeit a little cramped. It seems everytime I move now I am bumping into something. Of course, that is okay too, because it makes mom jump and she gets excited everytime she feels me. As long as she is happy, I am happy.

I keep hearing this name Ella. Daddy was talking to me the other night and he kept saying it over and over. Grandma keeps saying it and mom is telling everyone that name as well. I am beginning to think that might be my name! I like it. It is very cool.

Oh, I forgot to mention...on Christmas eve I heard mom and dad say they were going to the candlelight service at church. I loved it!!! The bell choir was cool and the Christmas music was very neat. I heard dad say that I must have some of Grandma Baker in me because of how much I loved the music. Sweet.

Well, I am tired from all of this writing, so I am going to take a nap. Sorry for the delay in writing, but rolling, sleeping, eating, sleeping, kicking and sleeping make for a busy day.

Bye-bye.

OH BOY!!!

Well...today mommy and daddy found out what I am! Here is the picture they got...can you tell???

Well if you don't see anything, that is becaise there is nothing there. After six months, I can finally tell all of you as well...I am Baby Girl Baker! :-)

I don't know if dad is disappointed or not, but I just want to reassure him...I still love me some O's! Of course, I will be checking them out with mommy!!!

Well, I need a nap. Too much excitement for one day. Ole Doc Piccolo was really moving some junk on me today, so it wore me out.

Later.

HOLY CRAP!

Ok...it again has been a while...but I have to say...whatever this Thanksgiving thing was last week...WOW!!!! Mom has never fed me so much and so many different good things! Apparently dad made this stuff and it was wonderful. I can't wait to get out and let him feed me even better.

Speaking of dad, he felt me kick for the first time the other night. I am sure he loved it and was grinning from ear to ear.

I continue to stir around and mom giggles when i get the hiccups! (which, by the way, happens quite frequently now.) I always wait until she is sitting still to move around. I know she we will feel me then.

I got to hear Uncle Jason, grandma and Aunt Denise last week too. I haven't heard Uncle Jason for a long time, but it was good to hear him again.

Next week mom and dad are going to see if they can see what I am. I already know if I am a girl or a boy...but I am not going to tell you. You have to wait just like everyone else!

Gotta get to bed. Later.
